An adult son of a friend of mine picked this up last week. I don't know any of the details but he is not on these forums nor do they buy things off the internet auctions so I assume he bought it locally. Kinda neat actually since I wonder how many of these are floating around the hunting fields here in Ohio. My frind recognized the Busse name from our conversations and asked me the value. I have no idea on a knife from this genre. I would appresiate any estimates you might have by post, PM, or email. And no I do not believe he has any intention of selling it.

Thanks

cool little knife.

To answer your question 400.00 to 600.00 ?

3 years ago it would have been a premium price. These days he would be fortunate to get 600.

Gerald Paul Busse.

Very hard to estimate value on a thing like that. Essentially no prior sales to compare to, and likely only a small group of buyers who would appreciate it as a piece of Busse history.

Thanks for the help guys. I thought about in the price range as stated above but wanted to be sure.

Don't believe Dave, he's high on kydex dust! The knife is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. An auction would be your best bet.

I think it could fetch more than $600.00. But yes, hold onto it. Selling a knife without being serious lowballed is rare these days.

cant help you out with a price but thats an awesome find! i wish i could happen along something like that one day.

sheesh, I did not think that was low ball and by no means meant it as one?
he asked a question & I answered the best I could with my limited 12 years of being on the forum.

I have seen older knives go for less and more.
ATS 34 SH1's have been as high as 1000.00 and as low as 600.00 in recent years.

Just figured a small knife like Drew's knife he found would be, in this market 600.00 on the high end.

I am not in a position to buy it or even offer, I just answered Jerry's question of what I thought it was worth, guess I was way off.
