Value of GP Busse?

I think you are the only accurate one David. About a year and. Half ago there was another GP that came up.....folks were telling him it "worth" 1200-1500. But of course, all the folks giving the value wouldn't give the same price for the knife. He ended up selling for less than half of the low end range.

It's all worth what someone will pay and recently ( last month) 2 bbshshs sold for 400s. So 600 for this seem realistic.

Dave, I don't think he was saying your price was a lowball, that's not what I thought at all when I read that. I was nodding my head here, saying yes, there is always someone who wants to offer you $100 when you're asking for $500, no matter what it is you're selling. Until we invent the "slap you through the computer screen" app, it will continue to happen :)

I would pay a good price for that app.....or one that would transmit an electrical shock

I see your point but, Below is what prompted my response.
If I misread the responses then my bad.

cool little knife.

To answer your question 400.00 to 600.00 ?

I'll take ten at that price.

I think it could fetch more than $600.00. But yes, hold onto it. Selling a knife without being serious lowballed is rare these days.

Dave- For what it is worth I have received similar advise via PM from people I trust just as much as you on the matter. Both before and after your post and they are in the same ball park price wise as you. I realize someone might pay crazy money at auction but that was not what I was looking for. I was looking for a starting point.

The knife is not mine so I can't "keep it." like everyone is suggesting. What my friend the owner wants to do with the information you good folks have given me is up to him. If it was a drop point I would be all over trying to get it from him.

Thanks again for the help.

I sold my bbshsh for $700 3 months ago : ) I feel sorry for anyone letting them go for $400 but sometime people have to dump em opposed to waiting for a reasonable (imo) sale.

Im not saying $1000+ or that anyones wrong, i just know id snatch it in a heartbeat for $600 and I would consider it a steal. Offer it to me at $400 and Ill feel guilty and toss ya and xtra $50 : p(almost paid that for the much smaller lil ugly)

sheesh, I did not think that was low ball and by no means meant it as one?
he asked a question & I answered the best I could with my limited 12 years of being on the forum.

I have seen older knives go for less and more.
ATS 34 SH1's have been as high as 1000.00 and as low as 600.00 in recent years.

Just figured a small knife like Drew's knife he found would be, in this market 600.00 on the high end.

I am not in a position to buy it or even offer, I just answered Jerry's question of what I thought it was worth, guess I was way off.

I was in no way saying that you were lowballing him sir. $600.00 would be a fair price nowadays, I suspect he could possibly get more though way down the road, or if he has possesion of a time machine and can go back a few years.

My previous comment was me speaking from my own personal experience. I have been selling off knives the past year and it seems that many people (not all) waste my time with a million questions before low balling me on the price.
