A Schrade-Walden 150T Old Timer has come into my friend's possession. He wants to know the ballpark value of it. On one side of the blade Schrade-Walden is above N.Y. U.S.A. It is perpendicular to the handle/blade. On the other side of the blade 150T Pat.Pend. is above 38762.
From my research (most of which is from various posts and submissi), I've determined it was probably made in late 1965. It is in a Genuine Leather sheath that isn't like any I've seen described but the knife fits in it perfectly. The sheath has a snap leather band to go around the handle and is what I call whip-stitched with a long leather thongs that tie onto a person's leg from the top and bottom of the sheath.

If uncertain of the ballpark value, is there someplace you can direct me? Thanks! SquirrelGirl email: bvgardner@yahoo.com

Worn, name etched in the blade, no box or papers, the knife has a value of about $25 to $35.00. If it were mint and complete, add about $100. Excellent used, add appx $30-40. If you would like something more substantial, you can contact Mr. Bernard Levine through his forum on BF, and he can do a real appraisal for a fee.

I hope this helps,
Michael

Note: This assumes that the included laced sheath has some value.
