Seriously this is a very collectible item and is made with the highest quality and attention to detail. Vampire hunting sets where in vogue in the Victorian era. This one the finest I have ever seen, complete in every detail!
You are looking at a one of a kind, custom made, vampire hunting kit called “To the Heart of Nosferatu”.
This set was made by the outstanding bladesmith C. Priest in 2006 and has been under glass since delivery. This set is the crown jewel of my knife collection and has been in my possession since the day it was made.
You will NEVER see another like it. This is the first and last of these sets made. This ‘Vampire Hunter Kit #1’ is a true treasure for the collector and aspiring vampire hunter alike. The case and its contents are made from items in excess of 125 years old.
The kit is housed in a wooden and leather lined antique fitted case measuring 12.5 inches by 20 inches and is 4.75 inches thick. It is dark stained and in fantastic shape for its age. The top of the wooden case is adorned with a cross that was carved from mammoth ivory that is 4.5 inches by 1.5 inches and ½ inch thick.
The inside of the case is adorned with a section of scroll (from an 1800’s death certificate) showing angles guarding the gates of heaven and an antique cross. At the bottom there is a 125 year old flat of barbed wire bordering the gates to illustrate that the vampire hunter is the last line of defense of all that is holy from the vile undead that are his prey.
This kit contains the following items:
• Hand forged Damascus bladed double edge knife with blade catchers. It has a cocobolo wood handle which is adorned with an inscription plate and cross. It also has shaped brass guard and pommel. This knife is a work of art in itself! It is 13.5 inches long with a 7.8 inch blade that is 4 inches wide at the hilt/blade catchers.
• Hand made cocobolo stake adorned with brass 2 crosses and a priest shield. This is a fantastic piece of work and fits the hand well. The stake is 17.5 inches in length and 2.5 inches at the hilt.
• 1 flask of Priest Holy Water
• 1 vial of Silver solution
• 1 vial of Garlic solution
• 1 sachet of garlic flowers
• 1 amethyst rosary
• 3 milagros for protection of your companions
• 1 hand made brass reflective cross inscribed with the makers mark and “To the Heart of Nosferatu”.
• Small collection of previous trophy’s teeth
