(1020°C + twice 525°C = 62 Hrc) Bolsters are brass and ironwood scales for the handle.

Call them up and ask for some in knife sizes and then bring up this argument again. It's okay, I'll just have my dad forge it and then send it to me. He's good at forging stuff out.
