Up For Sale:

3 Full Tang Vanax Fillet knives you may purchase 1 or all three and save on shipping.

Knives are Vanax with distal taper and measure 12" overall, each comes with a .080 Kydex sheath. Handles are brightly colored with sandblasted sides for both visibility and added grip.

Blade: 7" Vanax distal taper with most of the flex being in the first 3.5" of the knife. Heat treated by Peters Heat Treat to 59-60RC. Finish is scotchbrite belt. I've been told by my customers that they are getting anywhere from 200-500 crappie/walleye before sharpening depending if they use a good board or not.

Handle: Handles are g10 except for the red canvas witch is from FOD and is Tequila Sunrise with a orange g10 liner. All my fillet handles are attached with stainless corby bolts gFlex waterproof Marine epoxy.










Vanax is extremely corrosion resistant and will take a beating.

You are welcome, It is possible to shorten one up if you're interested. Vanax is just never offered in such thin stock and just happened upon it. Fantastic Steel. If I can build you one out of Cpm 154 Cm or Cpms 35Vn shoot me a email.

Hmm. What would a 6.5" or 8.5" blade in 154cm run do you think? When I saw your fillets my first thought was that's a wicked gift for my brother. Just a pondering so far. But an idea would be great.

These vanax blades are they 12" total with handles or 12" total blade?
 
As the description says, 7" blade.
