Vantage avid large washers

i odered a vantage avid today. Does any one know if the large vatage avid has teflon washers or phosbronze. If they are teflon what size are they as i would like to replace them with bronze ones if possible. i can sand them down if needed

I'm sure the newer ones, the "fixed" versions, come with the phosbronse washers. The first ones had nylon washers. BTW, calling these type washers (nylon) is giving them way to much credit. I am sure they are made from "nylon" but they are cheap and flimsey and deform much to easily. *this aplies to not only Buck, but other Co.s as well. If the tolrences of a pivot design are well made, the washers will only need to seperate the blade from the handle and will not be relied upon to control side to side play of the blade to inprove pivot/lock up actions.

There are a number of grades of Nylon. If you get the correct grade, Nylon washers work just fine.
