Ok, lets see if I have this right. I learn it, and then forget it and 6 months later learn it again. For me at least, this system is not intuitive.
Select = 420HC
Avid = 13C26 Sandvik
Pro = S30V
Force = black oxide (can be 13C26 Sandvik or S30V)
Dymondwood = compressed laminate wood pulp composite; how do they give it that woodgrain appearance?
Paperstone = 100% post-consumer paper (a.k.a. recycled garbage
) impregnated with resin and dye [Link].
Is that about right?
While I'm at it:
- is 13C26 considered superior to 420HC? I see that moderator Thomas in the Kershaw forum says 13C26 is superior, except that 420HC excels in corrosion resistence. Link. Concur?
- 345 = Select, 346 = Avid and 347 = Pro?
Thanks!
