Hi guys....
I wanted to show you guys 2 new knives My apprentice just finished. The Persian is called "VAPOR" and the other one is a slightly smaller version of the Mutation shes calling the 'Mutation Sequel'. LOL.

Theyre both made of 1095 and oil treated, both are bead blasted for increased rust resistance(this depnds on various results), Both include Kydex sheathing that can be set for belt or neck carry (at the customers request), both have razor sharp hair shaving blades( I should know, I tested them),and both have Full coverage Blue/Black G10 handle scales.

Its a little hard to make out the details in these Pics, but its all there I assure you. Her logo, the Kanji, it etched deeply into both knives, but its hard to see cuz its all the same color.
Anyways, have a look-see and let me know what you think. As a side note I believe both of these are available for now....

Enjoy, and feel free to comment.

Also, I just thought I'd point out: Bead Blasting does NOT increase corrosion resistance. It decreases resistance by increasing surface area as compared to a (near-)mirror finish.

I must say that you have THE most consistantly unique stuff I have ever seen. Some of it is on the radical side, but thats where you find inovation, right?
keep it coming! all great stuff.

From the research we've done, we've had various results with the same steel. Some had better corrosion resistance(Despite what you might read or see online), some didnt resist rust as well.
As we all know steel tends to vary in composition even if all 3 bars are 1095, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm not sure...all I know is what the result showed.

I should post up a test, take some pics, recreate the results, and show how much it can differ. That might be an interesting post.

Why thank you Weyland-smith. I try hard to make stuff thats different. Wait till you see this new fixed blade I'm making, and a folder mechanism I'm working on....wicked bro....WICKED. I am ALL about innovation, I try hard to do things as differently as possible as often as I can. :)

+1 ;) seriously. Other than that, Im liking the user friendly'ness of the vapor,
good work .....The Mutant?...well you know us better than that :D

Its odd but we have knives made of 1095 and 01 that we blasted that arent rusting at all...I cant figure it out. I know how it supposed to be, that t would expose the steel, but it doesnt seem to be that way in this case. I guess I'll have to take pics to prove it.
Stay Tuned.

Thanx for the kind words loandr. Yep, now shes making a 4finger VAPOR. SAme type of thing but with 3 finger grooves and a ring. BADASS...
