I recently purchased a Brous Silent Soldier from Vaporooski (Alex). The knife was shipped immediately, arrived in 2 days, very carefully packaged. Cosmetically, the Silent Soldier looked perfect, in mint, unused condition. Upon opening, the Silent Soldier, I noticed that there was very substantial, up/down blade play. I contacted Alex (via email) & explained the blade play issue that I was experiencing with the knife...I was pretty much resigned to sending this knife back to Brous & having Jason's warranty guarantee correct the issue...
Within 10 minutes, (& without asking) I was notified by Paypal, that my payment had been 100% refunded. Furthermore, Alex contacted me immediately thereafter, apologized for the oversight. & requested that I send him back the knife. Alex, without a doubt, conducts himself with the utmost in integrity & professionalism that you hope to find here on BladeForums. I was very impressed with how Alex treated me, & the genuine concern, & effort that he made to correct the problem.
It is my hopes, that this post doesn't start a hot topic debate regarding, Brous Blades. My intentions are to make a statement, to let other BF member's know that Alex is one of the really good, honest guys here on the forum.
