Vaquero Ultarlite ..... Damascus EDC

Offered for sale is one of my Vaquero Ultralites. Slim, comfortable and just the right size to carry EDC. Big enough to handle all those daily cutting and slicing chores, small enough to forget ya have it on. I can say that with confidence as I carried the prototype of this knife model for about 3 1/2 years as my own personal EDC. Besides being a knife maker I am also a cattle rancher and this little guy can handle everything a ranch or knife shop can toss at it. From opening feedbags, cutting rope and hay string, slicing leather, opening packages, castrating calves to checking how done the steak is on the grill, I've used this little guy for it all. Probably not your first choice for taking care of that elk ya got down, but for day in and day out, life......hard to beat. The Vaquero Ultra Lite is 5 7/8 inches overall, with a blade length of 2 3/8 inches. It is constructed of 416 layer high carbon damascus that has been heat treated and cryo quenched for additional toughness. Heat treat is by Peter's and this knife has been tested with a RC 60. All edges except the cutting edge have been slightly rounded for comfort.

It comes with one of my Horizontal Sheaths thats designed for right hand crossdraw. Worn above the left front pocket, this sheath allows quick and easy access with either hand to your knife. Constructed of premium Herman Oak leather, the sheath provides a very secure method of carrying this knife. The sheath and knife can be held upside down and shaken very vigorously without loosing the knife. The knife seats into the sheath with an audible "klunk" when inserted. A belt loop designed for a standard 1.5" belt secures the sheath when carried. This sheath has been wet molded and fitted to this specific knife.
