hi guys.got my new variable running last nite.is too coolman will it ever run slow.question,,when turned up all the way,about how fast should you be running,or vice verusthanks for any info royboy

You don't need it to fast
I just kept playing with mine until I found a comfortable spped that I could crontrol well for the ruff grinding then the slower speeds came as I tried to remove the scratches.To slow and you won't have grinding torqe but it will polish great.
Just play with it and you will find the speeds that work best for you.

to add to what bruce said, you will find that diff, belts work best at diff, speeds A/O, S/C, ceramic, norzact, for me i find that norton 50g ceramic, work best at about 1/2 to 3/4. you will feel the belt cutting the steel off.
