Variable speed Wilton Square Wheel ??

Once again I find myself asking advice on this grinder. Does anybody know if I can use the Baldor BC 154 Full wave SCR Control with the stock 1hp motor. I really dont know anything about AC or DC motors and I am looking at one of these controllers on ebay right now. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

BC154 is a DC motor controller. It will not work with the AC motor that comes standard on the Square Wheel.

Thank you for your reply. I knew I couldn't be that lucky. I guess I will keep searching. MAN THOSE VFD's ARE EXPENSIVE!!

As I said in the other post, I bought a brand new 1-1/2hp DC motor and controller on ebay a while back for $350. Keep looking, one will turn up.
