Sorry it has taken me so long to get this posted, but life got in the way.
I got my Busse Variants back from Kenny Rowe in Hope, Arkansas, last week with thier new sheathes. Kenny does good work and is real great to work with on any special projects.
I had matching alligator inlay sheathes made for my SH variants with pin-locks that match up the talon hole. The E-handled one has a cross-draw and the straight handle has a regular belt loop made extra wide.
For my BM variant ("The Melvin Project") I had Kenny make me an old time bowie type sheath with the belt button. Kenny also makes a "frog" on a swivel belt loop that the sheath drops into and locks onto the belt button. This makes it very easy to remove the knife and sheath or just to tuck the monster in a belt for quick carry. There is no strap due to the size of the blade and swivel action of the sheath.
I plan on bringing these with me to New York next month if you want to get a better look. No, they are not for sale.
Now all I need is a pair of Andy Prisco Brand special Barney boxer shorts and I can strap these babies on and walk around the house in style.
