Variation on variants???

I think the picture below speaks for itself. Top bought off the forum here, middle and bottom from the Ganza, and they are all different. Top one's swedge is shorter by about 1 cm vs the other two, and the top two have 4 teeth instead of 5. Interestingly, I could not find a picture of any that showed only four teeth. Logo placement is different as well.

So my question is this: Is this kind of variation among variants normal? I can understand some variation in something like grinding from one guy to the next, but varying the number of teeth???

The FNMOASHs were mostly different also, the # of serrations on the top and the # on the bottom, mine has 5 and 10, others had 4 and 11. I think it just has something to to with how much they drink throughout the day...or artist creativity? Just my 2 cents...still waiting on mine to show up.......I like the 5 serratations more.

They are from the custom shop, they should all be 1 of a kinds or they wouldn't be customs, just limited runs. But what do I know, maby custom means something different in the knife world.

I'm not positive, but I think they were all hand done so each one would be a bit different. Here's my 6 toothed Howler.

Seriously, since they are all customized they will all have slight variations. Even if the same person was doing the work each will vary slightly. This also gives you something to strive for....owning all the different variations
