Variation on variants???

I think having SEVEN serrations in the distance of the 4-5 would be BEST! :D I'm not sure I like how far back TROY's goes to the handle (for reasons of chocking up on the knife)...

Just my two cents...

It was getting sized for some new pants.

:D

those look really cool. how are they carried?

The one on the left is a drop-leg carry and I'm guess that the one on the right is a sort of chest-rig or under the shoulder type?

Hi Morimotom,

Horizon is right about how I wear them. I'll try to get some pics the next time I get out.

You've definitely won my respect in the sheath carry guessing department!

:D :D

Jog my memory, if you could please, Troy... Was it you or River8 that designed the one on the right, or someone else?

No man... we recognize each other by the confused looks on each others faces...like reading a law book out loud.

One suggestion, and YOU of all people know better... Stainless rivets! :D

Yup, just the nodding and winking for now ;)

confused look........shades, winking..........nodding.

thats the guy in the mirror every morning!

Uh-oh, Troy... He's on to us! We'll need to drop off the radar for awhile and go into our super secret steath mode: pink tights and hoola-hoops...

:p

I have one of Troy's sheaths, and while it may have been one of his users, it is still soooo-weeeet!!

So my question is this: Is this kind of variation among variants normal?

OTE,

This is not just a Custom Shop thing. If you look at all, or almost all, of the popular models that have been offered over the years they keep coming back, and each time they are slightly different.

Personally, I love this since I love having a back up. That just gives me another reason to buy another of any model that really works for me and fits my needs. :D
