Hi guys & gals. I figured it was time to post a few of the knives I've put together in the last few weeks :)

First knife is a Herron Style Drop Point Hunter in CPM154, with a tapered tang, antique gold linen micarta scales and a couple mosaic pins.

VERY nice looking knives David. I like all of them, and that spalted birch is exceptionally nice.

Question on the filet knife: is the tang NOT tapered to keep a bit more weight and for balancing?

Peter

Thank you for the kind words Peter :)

In regards to the tapered tang, or lack there of ? Other than the fact that the stock is pretty thin to start with, I can't think of a good reason why the tang isn't tapered :o Maybe it's time I started adding that feature to my filet knives too.

;)

Man, David, it doesn't get any cleaner than those!!!

Love that Chopper.......

Those are all nice David. You're pulling off a number of different styles with elegance, great work!

David...

Your Herron and Loveless are shear beauty...while the fillet and chopper are pure utility...
