This is the Vector. This knife is essentially a kiridashi/wharncliffe hybrid. It is certainly a unique design. This knife is primarily designed to be a defensive blade, but is certainly capable of the typical utility tasks that you might use a kiridashi or wharncliffe for. The knife is extremely light and fast in the hand; ideal characteristics for a defensive knife.

The knife incorporates my "Rorschach" finish. This is the "Spatter" pattern, as it resembles random blood spatter. This design is cut into the steel, and will not come off unless it is ground off. This finish is completely unique for each blade.

The handle is epoxy impregnated nylon over skate board tape. Extremely grippy! The menuki is a very detailed dragon. The handle is quite secure and comfortable in any grip.

I grind these using a 14" contact wheel. The grind is extremely high, making the knife an excellent cutter. This knife is a great cutter and is especially sharp.

- Rorschach (Spatter) Finish

I have seen several of your knives now and I really like how the bevel line continues under the handle wrap. Not sure why, but I think it looks really cool.

Thanks!

I started doing that to get a more ideal edge geometry (Thinner edge, higher grind), and liked the way it looked.

Love it. That is fantastic work, the geometry of the wharncliff is always a favorite of mine. Im sure itll go quick.

I really like this "spatter" pattern! This could not be more original!

Thanks!

I didn't forget about your order; email headed your way!

I can always do this finish on your knife if you want. Just let me know.
