this is a thin vegetable cleaver blade size is about 4x9 with a spine thickness of 3/32
its full flat ground and hand rubbed finish
SS pins in the stabilized spalted maple burl handle. then handle is full at just over an inch wide making for good balance in the mod pinch grip
asking $400 for it

Oh, if only I had the scratch. I have wanted one of these "Chinese" cleavers for a really long time. Very nicely done!
 
I would think that every executive chef, in every top restaurant, would love to have such an implement. Beautiful work as always.
 
i envy your patience on hand rubbing a monster blade like that....must have taken a LONG time....awesome looking handle too
 
I agree on the master chef idea. Get one of those to some food network chef and you may be busier than you want.
