Vegas Area Knife Makers / Collectors

Hello:

Weekends are bad as that is time I spend with my family. During the week..days would be best for me..then again I am a full time maker and business hours are just that. Off time is off time and I spend that with my kin. I am in the minority I know but what the heck.

(The Mushroom/Swiss burger there is pretty good..)

Any takers on Friday the 27th then? We would sure like to have you there, and that works for me too.

Brad

Friday is no good for me...school stuff with the kids that night.

however , if that day/time works better for others , go with it , I will catch the next one....

I am working Friday as well. I stay lets stick with 1 PM Saturday and maybe plan another one for a later date, perhaps do that one on a weekday...

Just heard tonight , another Vegas local ( and x-firefighter ) will be able to attend as well.

If J-macs gets skittish with us having a knife show & tell , we can do that at my place , which is only a couple blocks away.

Good meeting everyone today , small group but all was cool.

J-Macs was totally cool with their being 30+ knives on the table at any one time....

Waitress even laughed and asked " Anyone need a steak knife ? ".

Till next time......

Fireman99's knives have to be the best kept secret in Vegas..his work is very nice , extremely clean and his sheath work is top notch.

I will second all points mentioned. It was good to finally get the local group together!
We will have to keep the ball rolling.

Brad

Dunno if it was the lunch with all you guys or the knife maker friend who flew in from Portland , or maybe both ---- but I actually ground a blade yesterday. First time I had turned the grinder on in a long time.

Weather was perfect , nice breeze , temp around 94 , nice !
