I always look forward to your posts, as there's a good chance I will see something both really beautiful and unique. No disappointment here. Terrific piece.

neither low end, nor entry level;)

Think about the fact that someone will be cherishing this a hundred years from today. We'll all be gone, but others will be getting the same thrill at Bruce's work.

Bruce -- you are something else. Another incredible work of art. If you would only make them faster, we could see more of them.

Hello Bruce,

It looks like you have created an amazing collection of one-of-a-kind
world-class gun-knife art.
These pieces should be displayed TOGETHER in a major art museum for
everyone to enjoy in awe. Regretfully they will remain hidden away for many
years in the safes of some of richer collectors living all over the world......

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

i am a rank amateur in the world of art-knives, but Mr. Darom, above, has expressed the awe i am feeling as i view these pictures.
absolutely stunning art, and extremely gifted talent.
this is an example of the meaning of "genius", for only perhaps 1 person in a million, or more likely, 10 million, could create anything comparable.

Bruce,

This is a great piece. I'm not convinced by the handle design & materials, but this is a personal taste issue.

I have seen some full size daggers with guns like that. It would be fun to see another larger piece. ;)

Thanks so much for all the kind words and great compliments. I believe there are many knifemakers that could do this better than me and would if they didnt take so long to complete.
The handle materials are not my choice this time. It screams for ivory. There are some screw placements that could be improved also but all in all I'm pretty happy with the result.

That is beyond words Bruce!!! And with real charcoal Blueing no less!!!

I'm with you. This piece screams out for fine Ivory!

Mike

I really like this one, Bruce. For me, I think the pearl inlay is most appropriate, possibly over ivory. Don't change a thing. ;)

Mindboggling.  :D
