Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Slight convex grind finished with a cork belt for an almost mirror finish
Stabilized and dyed spalted maple handle. ( if you are unfamiliar, stabilizing is a vacuum and pressure process filling the pores with resin making the wood harder. This handle is welcome in the dishwater but like any knife, never in the dishwasher)
Full distal tapered tang with slightly upward to help keep knuchles off the cutting board
Overall length: 8 1/2 inches
Blade 4 inches
$old. delivered within our United States. Please message me for shipping and payment options
