My wife stole my BK2 to add to her emergency winter bag that she keeps in her truck.
My question is this, which if any Becker do you keep in your vehicle winter emergency bag?

BK9 in my truck at all times..... Well, not when it's in use but it is there at the ready!

good thread...

I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even got a knife in my truck let alone a bag, I've been meaning to get one together but the weathers been so nice haven't got around to it...

I only have a few beckers so picking is slim, but did I mention I like big knives?? :D

thanks bro this has encouraged me to throw together a kit for me and my wife this weekend...

take care,

i keep my warthog there... and probably have at least one BK11/14 kicking around. as well, i have axes, brush hooks, saws, and crowbars.

not to mention what i have on my person any given day.

for a while i had a couple Beckers, but felt they were worth to much to risk being stolen ;)

My pack goes everywhere with me, some stuff I carry will change obviously but 3 constant items that never change and rarely leave my bag except when in use are my bk-7 paired with the bk-14 when its not around neck, and my leatherman surge. I also have small ferro rod attatched to the 14's sheath.

I have a MAP3500 that goes EVERYWHERE with me and has my 14 and a random full size Becker in it usually. In my Jeep are my Woodsman's Pal, BK9, BK10 and patrol machete right now.

Since I am wherever my truck is I don't keep one in it specifically. I don't like leaving weapons laying around with my pawprints on them unattended.

I put the BK7 in the kit I put together for my wife's car, and I EDC my BK5 so; yeah.....

Where do you park that Jeep ;)

My pack is my edc and I keep a bk2 in there at the moment. Varies between that and the bk5

Again good luck, I was trained as a counter sniper/DM. Used the wonderful BK6 to de-ice my windshield right before leaving work about an hr. ago. 1095 makes a glorious scraper as well as just an awesome steel.

I keep a BK7 in the trunk and a BK11 in the center console.

Not much you can't do with that combo.

I carried a Gerber LMFii in my vehicle kit, along with a Fiskers chopping ax and hatchet.Went RV camping this past weekend and my buddy who usually brings all the tools we need in his trailer, decided not to bring his trailer. I show up just in my truck and he's saying that we have nothing to chop firewood and he's going into town to by an axe and shovel. I told him that I have some in my truck. Used the Fiskers to chop the wood down and then I started batoning it down to size with the LMFii. It did the job, but the serrations got in the way frequently.

So I just put my BK7 in my truck today for just in case now and kept the LMFii in reserve for dirty jobs.

I keep my S&R bag in the car full time. That bag has a BK7 attached to it. Sometimes I keep my Patrol Machete there too but it's been loaned out for the time being.

BK-7 in the Cougar, Patrol Machete in the S-10. BK-11 on me at all times, and a tomahawk in whichever vehicle I happen to be using.

Got a canvas pack lashed to the canoe so my sharp goodies don't go to Davy Jones Locker if we tip.
