Bonded diamonds are becoming more and more popular for knife sharpening. Gritomatic offers bonded diamonds made by Venev Industrial Diamonds (VID) in different form-factors.
Venev Diamonds consist of a 2-3 mm-thick diamond-bearing plate on an aluminum base. The diamond-bearing plate contains evenly distributed diamond grains with organic or metal bonding. The manufacture of bonded diamonds is more complex than for coated diamonds. Bonded diamonds provide better feedback and give the sharpening stone a much longer lifespan.

Edge Pro format, 8 grits.

i recommend these. i got some for the KME and they have a good scratch patern and like them better than DMT and KME diamond stones. only thing is the course stone is not that course in comparison to say the kme Beast or DMT extra course.

the best thing is they ship from amazon warehouse... and one is right by my house so i get like 1 or 2 day shipping depending if there is stock at that location.
