Any of you guys ever fix venison ribs? I dont know if I should discard them or try to cook them.

I would cut the meet out and add it to your burger grind.

If you do BBQ, go with lower heat for a long time to break down the tough connectors and get rid of the grease. Good luck with it. Hopefully some others have good tips.

I've made them a couple times years ago, not a lot of meat.
I trim it out now and grind it up with the rest of the trimmings like Ed said.

I just cut the meat out and grind it. Not enough there to bother with trying to cook them whole. At least that has been my experience.

Marinate and cook them slowly. I BBQed that and other cuts for some friends once . Their little 2 year old was a real meat eater .As he watched me cook he was running around saying 'meat, meat ,meat !!'

Unless you bag a moose, trying to bite around the bones of a similar ungulate is somewhat annoying when you are attempting to have a nice meal. For the most part, you get a hell of a lot of bone and not a lot of meat out of a deer cage. Several options are available, many of which have been suggested above, but so far as I have seen, nobody has suggested a good stew! Lop those cages up and make a stew with them. Add some more firm pieces, but the ribs, when slow-cooked in a stew crockpot, will make a real hearty gravy base, and a thick stock with which you can create a truly amazing stew without having to resort to the use of starch as a thickener. Trust me on this one, you will not disappoint your dinner guests!
