Post your recipes for vension jerky. I'm interested in how you guys do jerky in a conventional oven.

Here is my moms recipe. She is from Thiland so therer it has a Asian flair. Great though

4-5 cloves of crushed garlic
1 heaping table spoons of sugar
hot peper flakes to taste
about 20 corriander seeds crushed
1 cup of soy sause

This marinates couple of pounds of sliced meat

Let marinade couple of hours turning so often, not over night soy gets to salty

Hang in oven with door cracked set 150-175 and takes around 6-7 hours (She uses a dehydrater mostly now)

I am sue you know this already but make sure you cut the meat across the grain. Made that mistake the first time I tried it. Man it tasted great but my jaws have never been any more sore. Chewed and Chewed
 
Soy sauce,Worchestershire Sauce,Salt,Pepper,Garlic powder,Sugar,Onion powder,Red pepper flakes. I never measure anything and just mix it all together really good. Then put it straight on the dehydrater, I don't use the oven.
