Venturi Burner Question

If I wanted to use this burner in a smaller forge, is there a problem scaling this down by half? Or, should it just be run with less gas to produce less heat?

I fired this badboy up with the forge IG built me at the Hammer-In and it is HOT. It took a piece to non magnetic so quickly, I may need to scale it down!

Regarding my initial post, I had not meant to discredit Ellis Refractory. Darren is a perfect businessman and his products are great! I had posted my comments because i was aware he was on vacation and I was in a rush and had nothing to do with any displeasure on my part from the purchase.

This ASSEMBLY isn't to be used with a blower then?

This one doesnt need one with the regulator I have, but can be used with one if you want, but needs a different regulator I believe. The one on IG's site is a blower forge and having seen them in action this weekend, you can do ANYTHING with them. I think IG said they melted a stainless pipe fitting on one...

I mainly will be using this for HT, but will most likely use IG's forced air 1.5" blower one for forging and welding up cable damascus.
