I just ordered a black Izula today and i'm going to give it a try as my first fixed blade EDC knife. I probably wouldn't have considered it if not for the forums here. I'm going to give it an orange and black paracord wrap. i'll post pics when it arrives.

Congrats on the purchase
next I suggest the Izula scales
Then an ESEE4 or 6 to couple with the Izula, Enjoy

Ditto on the congrats and the scale suggestion. Those scales really make the blade complete.

I tried to EDC a Busse Active Duty. It was a good knife but it was hard to carry; maybe it was the sheath I was using. Anyway, it has been long since sold and I am also considering an Iz.

I used to EDC folders most of my life. The transition to izula was pretty easy...and it was a short time to edcing an RC3 from there. Now I'm looking at moving up to a 4.

great choice, the Izula is a great fixed blade. i EDC mine daily, even when i am around the house i have it on me, it is a great fixed blade and is tough as nails. congrats.

I edc mine on the belt with a tek-lok. I love my rc4, but the izula's the one i have on me all the time. Congrats.

I did order a tekloc with it but I can't find a site with the scales in stock. Any suggestions on a good place to order the scales would be appreciated. Thanks

KSF TKC, they might have izula scales. and if you are going to both neck and belt carry it i suggest getting another sheath made, but if you intend to only neck or belt it, then one sheath should suffice

congrats man. i've been carrying a izula as an edc for the last couple months. it's a good size for use without putting sheeple on edge.

I EDC an izula. Darn thing is awesome. Tough, sharp, doesn't imprint in pocket, and disappears in my hand for use without being too small. When I say disappears, I mean that it's hard for the sheeple to notice it and get alarmed.

sheeple

I always hate getting out of the car @ the trail head, putting my RC-6 on my belt and getting the "He's going to kill all of us and bury us up here" look...

Oh an uh IZULAS RULE! :D

Yeah the Izula is OK but you can get a Becker Necker cheaper and open beers, LOL. Pretty much same knife.:foot:

Oh god tell me about it. The look us knife guys get from anti-knife people is ridiculous. It is a man with a knife he must be out to stab someone. A grown man with a knife should be normal especially when hiking and such, people are so afraid these days they like to rid people of any capability. IT'S A TOOL, GET A LIFE-REALLY GET A LIFE.:grumpy:
