why do they not work? i need to change my email address, which is currently my work address, and all i have left is hotmail.com and verizon.net... what gives?

Verizon mail doesn't work and we don't allow Hotmail, but you can use any email address other than those two -- gmail, yahoo, whatever you prefer.
