Vermont Trip II (Extremely Photo Heavy)

Great thread as usual Dubz..............I can always count on your trips to produce excellent threads when you get home. I've never set foot in VT, so getting to tag along via your great photos is an education.

Great colours, great pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Tell me Warrior, don't you find the handle of the 14 a bit small for you?

Doc
Thanks. Yes, it is, but, there aren't any unusual protrusions/contours that hit my hand wrong, so it works out okay.

Thanks man, appreciate it.

Bloody Beautiful pictures Warrior - as per usual. What about that old inn, could imagine myself staying overnight in there now, very eerie looking, if one could only imagine the lives that passed through those doors. Really enjoyable Warrior - cheers mate.

Thanks man. The Inn is really cool. The Battle of Bennington Monument is just a few blocks away from there. The Old First Church , the first Protestant church in Vermont is across the street from it, and next to the church is an old cemetery, where several revolutionary war patriots as well as British and Hessian Soldiers killed in the Battle of Bennington, are buried. Here's some more history of the area: http://www.revolutionaryday.com/usroute7/bennington/

Very beautiful pictures. Reminds me of Maine where all of my family is.

Bears scare the living heck out of me.

Dang, that looks just like a place where I'd be happy to live. Beautiful stuff. If I hit the Powerball, I'll give you a shout. Otherwise I'll just look at your pics and pretend. Thanks for sharing W.

Thanks. We were thinking the same thing when we walked to the corn field to see if there were any bears there.

Thanks man. It's a beautiful area. I'd love to do some hiking there.

Thanks for taking time for us...I know that took a while to compile here and we all appreciate it! It was actually relaxing just reading it. Dunno why but I just found myself taking my time and enjoying it lol. Thanks Dubz!

Thanks man. It does take some time to do a thread like this. Just taking photos for the forum, to begin with. Then uploading to the computer, going through them all, deciding which ones to use, and kind of telling the story in your head as you choose. Then re-sizing them all, enhancing all of them in GIMP, then uploading to Photobucket. Then I use notepad, tell the story, and copy and paste the links for the photos. Then starting the thread. It does indeed take some time. I enjoy doing it though.

Damn, Dubz. I usually just wing it with the BF editor opened in one tab and my Flickr account in the one right next to it. I guess that's why your threads are picture filled awesomeness and mine.....aren't.

I've said many times that I put a lot of effort into my photos. The process is long, but I like the results. BTW, there's nothing wrong with your photos.

W your pics are so good its almost like being there. Thank you!
Thanks man.

As always, Dubz hits another thread out of the dang park! Man those photos are AMAZING! I'll be coming back to this thread soon just so I can spend more time drooling over that scenery (and blade shots).

Appreciate the thread brutha.
