i posted awhile back about a variation of a wsk , here is finished version , also has filework all the way down , and i had it hollowed in handle for survival items .it is about 13 to 14 inches long, cpm3v steel, sharp and strong as hell. the end cap is water proof and green anodized

that's pretty cool. used it yet? how's it feel? is it grip heavy with that chamber?

oh yeah ive used it alot lol. the handle slabs are green canvas micarta which get real grippy when wet , that have hidden pins and epoxied. the sawback actually works well ive cut thru and clean several saplings 1 to 2 inches . i love this knife it know has a mustard patina on it . the balance point is actually heavier in the blade , the end used for chopping if need be.but i love it . here is pics i took a few minutes ago . the handle has different swirls and some black in it which i love , i did not want a clean slab look.

Very nice, looks more like a big sawback bowie than a WSK. I would have done without the finger ring, though, I don't trust getting caught up in one on a big knife. The handle looks like a real good grip even without it.

yeah i agree with looking more like a bowie, i started out with alot of wsk looks and sketches and the gut hook like curve on wsk did not appeal to me ,then the handles did not appeal , and so on , i like the finger ring comes in handy when chopping ,really centers you and can take a big swipe without fear of mashing your finger off. there is not one thing i do not love about this knife except that i do not have more of them :D

Looks tough as nails. I like the shape of the handle, like a pistol grip. Very cool.

Can you tell me more about the maker, and more specs on the knife? Steel, length etc. Thanks

Absolutely stunning! A lot more useful looking than the original wsk. And
a lot of people are going to be wanting ones like yours.

no probs, i love the knife , it is made of CPM-3V . the steel is awesome, i wanted a strong knife period and this steel is it . i also wanted a knife that was not just a looker i wanted one that would get ugly lol. basically i wanted a real user not a safe queen . the blade cutting area is right at 8 inches , and handle is at 5 inches basically 13 inches long complete. in the compartment in the handle i fishing line , hooks, matches, super glue ,a small saw as back up,and a very small compass.

heres the good part . :D

the maker is a regular here on bladeforums and a great man to deal with , he answered a thread of mine back in 06 when i wanted this knife made and he always emailed and called with suggestions and help . i would not hesitate to buy from him ever. and i call him a friend even thou we only talked thru emails and cell phones. just a great guy. HIS NAME IS LEON PUGH. tell him ron from nc with the wsk style compartment blade sent ya ;)

Very cool, we have some of the coolest most talented makers on here! (And i guess I can't read because now I see the specs on the first post :))
