Vertical Play

I have Calypso Jr. that has a little vertical play in it. By that I mean the lockup is not tight. What causes that? Is it wear in the pivot or in the lock parts? Is there any cure?

Beam - is the vertical play loose, or must you apply downward pressure on the blade to cause it?

Upward pressure with the edge side facing down. You can kind of move the blade up and down a little.

Beam - a very small amount of verticle play can ususally be detected on any of our lockbacks if a fair amount of pressure is applied and one is very sensitive to it.

Thanks Sal. The play is more than I noticed in my other lockback Spydercos. In fact, I had never noticed the play in any before this one. I will send it so you can make the call on it.
