When we sit in front of our PC's and "pass Judgement" it's only because of the actions that we witness. So it does seem that actions speak louder than words. As someone else put it, "Bad form, old boy."

Well, if Larry has sold everything he owns, this will probably be the last time something like this happens with him.
For others, it's good to know what can happen when you go back on your word.
I've learned, that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

If Larry was so hard up for money, he did not have to assbang another Forumite out of a done deal.
Now, if he needed the money and this other Dude had just said, "Nah, I cannot really afford this..." what would have happened? "We had a deal..."
Double Edged Sword.
If you need the money that badly, badly enough to screw one person because another person offered you more...there is a place for you to sell it and you would have probably received more then the other guy offered.
It's called E-Bay.
