Hello to all. It has been quite a while since I have offered something here. I hope everyone is doing well.
Here I have a little Bird and Trout that I had recently finished. Hope you like it as much as I.
Blade is 154cm .102 thick and 2.725 in. from tip to bolster. O/A is 6.750 in. Tang is tapered.
Bolsters are nickel silver that have been soldered while being pressed together so there is a total saturation of solder under the bolsters. It is done in a similar way with some of the better made slip joint folders.
Handle is of Black linen micarta with home made mosaic pins. Liners are thin bright red and it has a lanyard hole as well.
It has a nice gentle swell in the handle for added comport also. I think it is a really great little knife and sheath.
Sheath is custom made to fit and is made to wear vertical or horizontal. I design this type of sheath to hold the knife very securely with a snap fit so there is no danger of the knife coming out when it clicks into place. Yet it is easy to withdraw either with left or right hand when it is in the horizontal position. I have many customers that love and wear this style every day because its cool and quick.
