My boss has known the King of Jordon for a while (not entirely sure how), and had him and his family over for dinner a week or more ago.
My boss' assistant texts me and says that he gave the King a Murray Carter as a gift, and so the King pulls this out and gave it to him!
Before I saw the picture he was trying to describe it to me,, the King said it had a 'bone crusher', so I googled "Benchmade with Skull crusher" and stumbled upon the Bedlam, that in the description was modeled for the Jordanian Royal Guard.
I'd never heard of the model until I was googling it. He said he would get more pics for me, but here it is.
A true one off!

Sorry I edited my post if you want to edit yours to remove where you quoted me.

That's pretty awesome! Also that is a very serious skull crusher. Ha maybe it actually IS a bone crusher!

That is one ugly knife.

Now, had it been a (traditional) Jambiya or even the modern 'tactical' Jambiya, which the Jordanian Army has.

NB The king is known for his fondness for 'hardware.'

I wonder how many he gives out. I suspect he gives them out to his military folks much like a coin. I'd rather have a knife from the king instead of some coin. Just saying.

Never thought about that, I assumed it was his personal one, since the guy that sent me the pic said it looked used. Hopefully he'll get some more pics and send them my way.
Either way I totally agree,, I'd take a knife over a coin any day :D

That is incredibly awesome!!
Yeah, safety on top, definitely an auto or assisted.
