Using the Tuss Tech stencils lately and they really perform well and at the price are a great bargin. I am using an Atlas Etcher with a carbon block and felt pad and it leaves a nice predictable etch with little clean up.

If you need some new stencils look them up

I have the same set up as you for etching Adam. I was very happy with Tus. Great customer service and very reasonable price.

Does anyone know if they will do a sheet with a bunch different marks on it? For example if one wanted a sheet with the names of different steels?

Here's my mark. Very happy with it.

They will do a sheet with different metals on it. I've ordered one of those from them. Their stencils are very nice, but I've never tried any other service. I don't feel a need at this point to look elsewhere.

Are you guys using etchant from tus as well? I've been using salt water and getting inconsistent results.

Get professional etchant .. You want good marks you need good equipment . Tus has been my go to after getting some from other sources. I send a email when I need more send over my $16 bucks and get two sheets back in a matter of days.

I use electro chem etch I get from TruGrit.

It works on stainless and high carbon

I vote for #94 etchant from IMG in New York. I use TUS and the green stencils from Marking Methods... both work excellent in my opinion. # 94 solution improved my etches greatly. Larry

I tried 11 different etchants(35, 50, 52, 72, 78, etc.) from IMG on both stainless and carbon. #94 works the best for both, #110 was promoted for stainless but doesn't work as well as #94.
