Just came yesterday. Saw it in AG Russell's catalog and it "looked" cool.
I am not disappointed.
Thick stock, flat grind, great distal taper and even tapered tang. Stag handles with thin red spacers. Sharp as received.
Not "scary" sharp, but for Bowie I want a VERY sharp "utility" edge and it has that.
If you're looking for a Bowie and not looking to spend a fortune but get all the stuff the expensive ones have, I'd think you would do well to look at the Boker Arbolito.
This is a BIG knife. Even though I read the dimensions, seeing it made me jump back a bit. Perfect Bowie.
(From the picture I thought, "well, it MUST have a sharp edge or two on the handle at least.").....NOPE. Perfectly fitted.
