I have just finished a very beautiful Bowie in D2 tool steel. The blade has been hand rubbed to 1000 grit (and it was quite the workout on this big blade). The scales are bushcam G10, inlaid with stabilized redwood burl. Pins are 1/4" 316 stainless steel tubing. The sheath on this thing is more then beefy enough to do this knife justice, with 5 layers of 10 oz leather, and it also has straps for horizontal carry. The sheath is also ambidextrous. See details below.

Blade
1/4" thick D2 tool steel, heat treated to RC 59-60 by Peters heat treat, also with cryogenic treatment.
Blade length is 10 1/2" from tip to center of choil.
Blade width is 1 15/16" at its widest point.
Overall length is 15 13/16"

I am asking $500.00 shipped CONUS via priority mail or ups ground, your choice. Add for speedier shipping.
Hope you all like!

Thanks. I wasn't sure when I started the scales how it was going to look, because I have never seen it before either. But I think they turned out quite nice, and certainly unique.

Thanks. I didn't realize it had even been changed, as this was my first post since the membership ran out a few days ago.
