In my ongoing efforts to raise cash, here we go, again...

Very nice, dead mint Hartsfield Kozuka, 3 7/8" D2 blade, grind is flawless, it has the more desirable dark brown cord over twine, with the white bronze PH Menuki. Comes with and in it's leather neck sheath by Phill. $495 shipped!

Next up is a very cool SAR Hornet, to my knowledge, it's the first of it's kind, I had him make it with a handle of thick slabs of very cool, very optical, red carbon fiber, over file worked, heat colored Ti liners, blade is super sharp and about 3" in length. Pewter skull lanyard charm completes the package, comes with a kydex neck sheath, and with it's original canvas pouch with colored Ti dog tags. A very cool, unique example of a Hornet! $450 shipped.

First to email me gets it/them. PayPal OK with no fees, but I'll only ship to a confirmed address.

My email is ari@thefossilgallery.com or the one below works too.

First, not sure how I could have mismeasured it way back when I first got it, but maybe i mixed it up with another one I had at the time, the blade is not 4 1/8", it's a little shy of 4" at about 3 7/8". Sorry about that.

To answer the posted question, I have had this knife for about 5 years, and it came out of another collection where I imagine it had been there a while, it is probably around 8-10 years old, and would almost certainly be a knife made by Phill only, and not with is son's help.

The neck sheath does have a light brown "shoestring" lanyard attached to it, as most of his do. I'll try to dig up a pic if I can find one.

Thanks everyone.

Looks like the Hornet is sold to Skychief!

The Hartsfield is now gone too, both are sold, thanks all!

Phill Jr. was trained by his father Phill Sr. since he was 16 years old. Phill Jr. is now I believe about 45-46 years old. So if it's only 10 years old, you'll bet that his son did part of it.

Good score on the hornet, thats before I started counterboring the screw's. I belive the sheath is also set up for a large teklok.......did you get the Handmade canvas shipping bag as well??
