I have owned a CRKT Point Guard for a number of years, during which time it has served me very well as one of my EDC's. No top-notch blade steel, but I've been able to get it quite sharp, and the overall fit and finish is good. Recently, however, the blade detent had loosened up to a point where the tip of the knife could sometimes be slightly exposed in my pocket. I wasn't sure how CRKT would handle a warranty claim for my knife, because I no longer had the sales receipt, and over the years I had polished out various scratches on the blade and scales (removing the factory "frost" finish of the blade in the process). I contacted the customer service department, and was pleasantly informed that my knife was indeed still covered, and was invited to send it in promptly for repair. So, off it went, and less than two weeks later, I received a package from CRKT. Upon opening it, I found a brand new Point Guard.
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the whole experience, and I will not hesitate to purchase other CRKT's in the future. Thanks CRKT.
