A while back i bought a M390 Paramilitary 2 sprint. I wasn't sure if i liked the shade of blue when i got it, i was expecting something darker. I decided i'd put it up for trade, soon though i realized upon inspection of the knife something odd, the spine didn't look right it didn't look properly flat, at first i thought maybe it was in my head but even some non knife friends of mine agreed it was off. Then there was a small chip on the edge of the spine too.

I withdrew it from the trade thread and decided to send it to spyderco to see if they could fix or replace the blade. After a couple weeks, i got a letter from spyderco explaining that they couldn't fix the issue because they did not make the knife anymore. They offered me credit towards another knife or gave me the option to have the knife returned to me. I called them to ask them to please just return the knife, and when i was talking to one of the warranty department guys he said at the very least he could ask their machinist if he could get rid of the little chip on the edge of the spine, i said that be great at least to get that fixed.

Well i was expecting to receive the knife with the spine the way i sent it, but they pleasantly surprised me and fixed the spine too, now it is perfectly flat the way it's supposed to be. Thank you spyderco!

I am very happy with the way it turned out, i think i'm going to keep her too, the color is growing on me, plus para 2's are scarce right now and if i wanted to get another i might have to wait a little.

I too have received really good service from Spyderco recently. One of my screws on my Techno got stripped and I sent it in. It came in this morning (well I picked it up from my apartment complex at least) and opened it up, read the form letter and was disappointed when it said it wasn't covered under warranty but they had sharpened it up for me anyways. So I resigned myself to fate and started trying to figure out how I would get the stripped screw out. But then I decided to give it one last try with my T6 and o and behold, they had replaced the screw! I immediately emailed customer service thanking them for it, and promptly received a reply from Charlynn explaining tha tshe had been able to replace the screw and Nate had done the re-sharpening. I was really pleased, needless to say. Thanks again Spyderco! And you too Charlynn and Nate!
