Very sad about Schrade

I agree with mnblade. If I could have got Old Timer blades in a Case frame I think that would have been the perfect pocket knife. Not too many slipjoints available with carbon steel blades and bone or stag scales. And that is the only kind of pocket knife I am really interested in.
 
WilliePete, took notice of the tag on my Levis shorts the oher day and sure enough it said made in Mexico. The real kick in the butt was the Carhart work pants hanging on the line next to em said the same thing. Guess its time to switch to my Wranglers.

Really sad guys. American made? Almost a thing of the past? Here's something ironic for you! For over 300 years America exported our wood to other countries, especially Europe. Now, for many years we have been importing wood from Sweden and other places!!! Go to your local home depot, sutherlands, etc and you will find that much of the pine has come from Sweden!!!!
