hello everyone:

i work in an office and i am looking for a very small fixed blade to wear at work. recently, i was in a cutlery shop, and there i saw a small fixed blade (the blade length must have been 1") with a beautiful handle inlaid with pearl. the maker appeared to be japanese. the knife, however, had no sheath, so i didn't buy it.

i'm looking for a very small fixed blade--with a blade length of two inches, and with a decoration to it to make it appear as an art knife. who makes small gent's knives such as i'm looking for?

thanks for any replys.
raul.

How about something along these lines. Jens just completed it and it is up on his website here. From firsthand experience I can tell you he does very well with his knives.

He is also a real pleasure to work with. His home page is:

Good luck...

Bunch of folks in these forums make small knives. Some include:

-Ray Kirk/Raker knives
-Allen Blade
-Sean Perkins
-Lynn Griffith
-Neil Blackwood aka Dr. Lathe
-Chris Hatin
-Mike Murphy/Running Dog Knives.

They all have web pages that can be accessed from links page. The exception is Running Dog. His page is http://www.runningdogknife.bigstep.com

Check the sites and see what they have that suit your taste/need.

Good luck,

sing
