What we have here is a custom ordered barlow from Rhidian Gatrill. This knife is GEC 86 sized and replicates 2021's Bladeforums Club Knife. I ordered it around from Rhidian around the time the BF knives landed, with the options I voted for during the process, and it arrived in January. One of a kind with the long pull, this knife is an absolute sweetheart
Comes with a very nice leather slip hand stitched by Rhidian himself and the COA card. If you're custom-curious, or if you've been into them a while and want a sweet user, this is your knife.
If you're looking for a top-tier custom slip joint for a user this is it. Blade is centered with no play, mill relieved stainless steel liners yield unbelievably smooth action. The pull is a wonderfully smooth 6.5-7 but is easily pinchable. The walk and talk sounds like angels singing. I did move the sharpening notch forward a little bit as there was some edge flaring at the heel. This was my office carry through the winter/spring. Always carried in a slip. I put a heinously sharp edge on it - it laughs at phone book/catalog paper. Some very faint marks on the stainless steel bolsters as expected. Only disclosure I can make about the knife is there is a small patch of very faint scratches on the blade that must have happened when I sharpened it. Dusted them with Flitz on a cloth, and it's hard to even see them, light has to hit it just right, but I did my best to show in the photograph. As such, the knife is offered at a very nice discount. Original price from Rhidian was $750, and I am selling for $525 PPFF/Zelle/Venmo or $550 PPGS. Full USPS insurance is available for an additional $10, but because the total value is over five hundred, you would have to sign for it when it arrives just FYI.
