On another note, reading some posts above, I also want to add that I've always enjoyed your posts here.

Congratulations on the award. Many years ago I got an employee of the year award myself. I was pretty happy about it. I remember shortly after getting the award a friend from work and I went to a restaurant we frequented and he told the owner about the award. She asked me how much $ I got. I told her there wasn't any money; just a plaque. She snorted and said "you can't eat plaque" and walked away. Made me laugh.

The only downer about your post is I feel for the out of work employees who won't be getting their jobs back.
