I ordered two sheaths from Vadim Grynko of Vessleatherworks. He was quick to respond to my e-mails. He gave me a great deal. The work was done quickly. It was packed with the utmost care. I was furnished with tracking information without even asking for it. The sheaths are simply excellent. I have been using them for two months now, and I just like them more an more every time I use them.

When someone asks about custom sheaths, I recommend Vessleatherworks first. He gets, and will always get, all of my sheath work. The only reason I would go anywhere else is for a synthetic sheath.

As a graduation gift for my little brother, I asked Vadim to make a personalised "Heavy Metal" guitar strap. The price was very reasonable and the transaction was smooth as butter. I think the work speaks for itself. Here's what he made:

He does do nice work indeed.

He goes by vess here and he has a homepage in his user profile.

Nice work, Vess's sheaths always have a very classy look to them

Here is a link to his Web Page

And as jhillas mentioned Vess is on board here as a Gold member
so you can search him out as well.

I just got pics this morning from Vess. I asked him to make up some custom pants for a pair of HI Kumar Kardas. These are going to my little brother and sister. I was blown away by the inlay work he did. Here are some pics:

Here are two more sheaths that Vadim did for me. These were for some old knives that were part of my uncle's childhood knife collection. He was killed in Vietnam about forty years ago. My dad eventually got the knives, but they had been poorly treated over the years and were in rough shape. Dirk Potgieter restored them, and Vadim made them some new pants.
