Looking again at the naked G10 handle for the moment ... Would it be practical to mill those two flutes in the pearl-covered handle, for contrast?

FINALLY!!!
Finally a quality blade company comes out with a quality blade with quality COLORED scales!!! GORGEOUS!!! AWESOME!!! ATTRACTIVE & EYE-CATCHING!!! I know I'm shouting, but I'm excited!!! Aren't you??? And above all else, that quality company happens to be SPYDERCO!!! Couldn't do any better!
OK. I'll try to control myself. I'll take one of each color. And Redmag's suggestion of red is red-on, ah, ... I mean, right-on!
Finally someone (best of all, Sal & Co.) decides to try something other than 'basic black'. Yeah, I know there have been other colors in Spyderco's history. But these! These are knives even non-knife people would pay bigger bucks for! Just my guess, but I know several people who don't understand my penchant for knives who would love to own one of these babies! And if I can afford more than just one of each color, some of them just may get to!
Mainly, I'm a 'user' and I like knives which I won't be hesitant to use. These look almost too beautiful to use, but I know that once they touch my hand, I won't be able to resist that sweet temptation to use them.
I'll get one to match each of my ties and use them as 'dress folders'. (OK, so I wear a tie only about once a year! Sounds good for telling my wife, though, right?

I have a load of Spyderco knives and carry my blue native often, cause the color stands out.
Thank goodness, basic black has its place, but how many look alike knives can a person own?
