Has anyone manufactured a small wheel attachment for the Vevor 1x30 grinder? I would like to use it to make those small radii.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Thanks. Good ideas. I also saw the Sorrel video. Made me happy about the purchase of this little beauty. BTW, I am just getting started in knife making, and have a question aboutI am guessing you could find a way to mount one for a 2x72 onto the 1x30 tool arm? Some 1/4" aluminum bar stock, attach the 2x72 small wheel attachment to the bar stock, attach the bar stock to existing tooling arm? I doubt we will see 1" wide small wheels, so it would be better to get the 2" wide version. You could even extend it out to have a 1x42" belt if needed. I wonder how the motor would do if you put 2" wide wheels on it? There are also 1000W sewing machine motors out there that may beef it up as well.
Sorrells just did a video review and it did pretty well! Short, small belt means you will go thru a lot more belts, but I can see it super useful for sharpening and stuff, especially running off of 110v! I am tempted to get one for sharpening and I could bring to my fish and game club and do a sharpening day, or even make a small knife or something from a kit as a demo!
Yep. I will try it. Thanks.Just use the existing small wheels on the grinder.
I'm assuming you are speaking of the variable speed model.
