VFD Hook Up - What Glands to get?

Hey guys, quick question here!

I'm putting together a Disc Grinder and have a KBAC-24D 1hp VFD. What glands or watertight fittings do I need and where do I get them?


I know I should be able to figure this out and did find some (for $24! ) but the first ones I ordered do not fit. Instead of wasting time I decided to ask you guys! Big thanks in advance!

home depot . What ever the knock out size is in you VFD , probably 1/2" and then the rain tight flex conduit to fit the knock out fitting.

The holes in the bottom of my 27-d are 1/2" NPT pipe thread

I believe that the "1/2" was even embossed in the casting beside the hole


I also bought them from Home Depot

There are different ID sizes, so take a wire sample with you so when you tighten the nut down, it grips the wire.



The ones from HD are grey.

If you want black ones to match the box...different suppliers sell different things.
