VG-10 Bar Stock

Does anyone know where to buy VG-10 barstock. The sources I know of don't carry them or don't have them listed on their sites.

It's my understanding that it isn't imported into the USA, but I'm pretty sure I saw some at Blade last year. It's good stuff. I used to want some bad before I found Elmax.

you can get some by calling 425 889 5980. blade gallery, epicurean edge. there is a limited number of sizes available at the moment but more to come.

Bohler N690 has similar composition to VG10. Here is a comparison:

Aichi made ZA-18 which is a copy of N690. ZA-18 is supposed to be an upgrade on VG-10.

Is N690 actually better than VG-10? I dunno.

While slightly different in makeup, I find CPM-S35VN to be better in performance to VG-10.
